We talk a lot about manga on My Taste is Better Than Yours. Well, duh – it’s a manga podcast. But we thought it was high time we talk about the shounen manga universe – the publications and what defines them, the history, the future. Especially outside Japan most manga readers don’t understand much about the business of manga publication – Westerners tend to consume manga by the volume, or nowadays on a streaming service. I’m no expert (Samu knows more than me) so I found this exercise quite educational and I hope you do, too.
