Having read the manga of Chainsaw Man, I’m actually not that surprised it’s ending, since the plot moved at a rather breakneck speed. Like Setsuken, I’m also kind of surprised that Chainsaw Man is serialized in Shonen Jump, since it features more graphic violence and nudity than the typical titles.

Prop to setsuken for quoting Littlekuriboh at the end

I thought the introductory animation there in the beginning was a nice touch. Hope you guys continue to experiment.

    Some notes:
    – I breezed through the newscast, feels like 30-40 mins
    – knock on wood on Setsuken thoughts on possible, worst case, adaptation of Chainsaw man (cgi, netflix, 1-cour)
    – I shall correct GE as I’m not part of Enzo’s patreons though I still provide some contributions, albeit small
    – was actually expecting a different listener question(thoughts on Sopranos?) as the one you answered was a comment I made on your final review on the Great Pretender and thought nothing of it as a listener question
    – additional listener question if possible: what do you think of anime/user scores/ratings (imdb, MAL, rotten tomatoes etc.)? and any thoughts on the worst anime/series, as perceived by the general public, but actually decent even great when you yourself watch it.
    – Next pod/newscast pls!

  5. Thanks, will answer that one this week!
