At long last, I’m launching a new commissioned project. After much consideration and solicitation of input, I’ve settled on just what the title says – my top 10 manga of all-time. It’s important to reiterate that this is not an attempt to decide the ten best manga of all-time (which would be impossible), but my ten personal favorites. In that sense, it’s the same as the decades and year-end list which have become a staple of LiA.
Details are in the Ko-Fi link – please go here to support the project. As with the Best of the 2000s project, the more we’re able to raise, the longer and more detailed the final retrospective will be. I plan to leave this open until August 15 22, 2023, and we’ll see how we do.
Eligibility should be pretty straightforward here. I don’t think it matters if the manga is ongoing or finished. I will limit myself to manga (i.e. no manhwa, manhua, manfra, or American comics).

Let’s see, top-ten favorite colors. I can name 4 from the top of my head, but I’ll have to think about the rest. Good luck and I hope it goes well.

August 14, 2023 at 11:14 pmConsidering the titanic amount of great manga out there, do u plan to limit yourself to genres (like, 1 shounen, 1 seinen, etc.) or are you currently planning to format it like a “free for all”?
