It was certainly no surprise to see Violet Evergarden cruise to an easy win in the Winter poll, as it’s the most hyped Kyoani show in years. But the two series that are, in hindsight, the biggest sleepers of the season (Kokkaku and Koi wa Ameagari no You ni) fared pretty well here all things considered.
