Honestly speaking, your win didn't come as much of a surprise to me 😉
Your round was a rather interesting one, mainly because of the comments in the aniblog post. Your win did trigger some rather interesting bits of conversation, where they were pointing out some inherent flaws to the tourney setup.
Anyways, enough serious talk. Let's see how far we can go with this tourney thing >:D
I don't know – the whole "walls of text" and "I hate episodic blogs" thing baffles me a bit. I'm a writer, I write – I'm not a graphic designer. I certainly admit I could do better with the visual side – that's just not my strength – and I try to post more generally analytical stuff as much as possible. But episodic blogging seems to be at the heart of what I do, so there's not much I can do to reach that demographic.
Anyhoo, good luck to both of us from here. Let's win a few more!
You don't have to worry about it to much, you shouldn't have to change how you write on your own blog based off a few individual opinions. You have fans that enjoy the way you currently write.
Keep fighting the good fight Enzo-sama, we have you back. 🙂
I started reading your blog cause I honestly like the way you do things now. I care more about your opinion and thoughts than pics of an ep I've already watched. Keep up the good work! 🙂
Unlike sports with their competitive nature, writing was never supposed to be compared in some kind of contests. So I'm happy to hear that you do this for your personal entertainment and won't change the format of your blog just because of the opinion of the voters. I like everything as it is right now. But if you want to try something else out of your own mind then that's a completely different matter.
pfft ignore the idiots . . ."walls of text" lmao people come to the site to read your opinion/analysis not to just look at some still shots of shit we've already seen. Just dont even respond to the haters out there, hell, look at psgels, he won the first tourney last year by a landslide against all his opponents and for th emost part he didnt give two shits what people were saying commenting, and he has a very similar style to you. Just because others cant write a simple article of a few paragraphs, they bash on those who do. just ignore them
Congrats Enzo for that landslide victory. I read the comments there and while I gotta agree that the design and writing dont go hand in hand, the site design does make it more comfortable to read the content. One thing pointed out there bothers me as well. Why is the site URL lostinanime.com but the site name is Lost in America? Suggestions to improve the site were already mentioned there. Your writing is great and pretty detailed so dont listen to those who dont like tl;dr posts. Keep up the good work and good luck in the next round.
Well, the answer to that question is a long one. Why is Random Curiosity "Randomc.net"? URls and site names often don't match, and there are several factors – I wanted a .com address, I wanted anime in the URL, I could go on… I debated this for quite a while, and this was the domain I ended up with.
Haha next one is right ony my birthday! You can bet I'll be voting for you again. Glad to see this blog grow more and more, and hope you keep blogging as long as you're interested! 😀
