Hard to pick just one. I liked alot but really liked A-Channel, Ano Hana, Boku Wa Tomodochi, Usagi Drop,Ikoku Meiro, Denpa Oona, Fate Zero, Freezing, Hanasaku Iroha, Kamisama Dolls, Kimi Ni Todoke, Natsume Yuujinchou San, Niichou, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Shinryaku!? Ika Musume, Stweins: Gate, Tiger & Bunny, and Working. I picked Usagi Drop as my favorite.
I would like to pick Fate Zero but it wasn't a finished article yet. Steins gate and madoka were good but the comedy of 2011 was actually the shows I was really looking forward to when I woke up in the morning and I think the best of comedy were either level E for many of its trolling moments or nichijou for making everyday's life looks enjoyable and exciting. In the end I chose Nichijou.
I was choosing over Usagi Drop (which I initially thought was not in the poll because everything else is arranged alphabetically) and Steins;Gate. I had to choose Usagi Drop because – among other reasons – it was very consistent.
I was about to pick Fate/Zero, but since it's not yet finished, I immediately looked for Steins;Gate. Fate/Zero is an awesome anime in every perspective. But I don't consider it a finished series of 2011. Maybe in 2012 I would get to vote for it, assuming that there won't be a better series.
@Enzo! Why was Fate/Zero on the list? Are you satisfied the way the last episode ended? Certainly it's not yet finished!
Seems like many of you guys like Madoka. I haven't watched it yet. But I'll give it a shot. :))
Quite a number at penguin drum, hmmm,…. Well the disparity makes my vote useless anyway so i won't use it. But if I had to choose it would either be Star Driver or Steins Gate
would be nice to have a "choose three" option. This poll is only useful for choosing the best show, but finding the voters nr 2 is a whole different story.
Yeah! It's really hard to choose only one among the shows we've watched. I guess 3 to 5 picks makes it easier to choose. Anyway we still have 6 days left to vote. So please vote! haha!
Well Ben-to was not that bad. It's pretty entertaining. An anime just to have fun. I laughed quite a bit. The fight scenes were awesome. But maybe he/she only watched a few series last year. Like me. I was able to watch maybe 7 series at most. Good thing I was able to watch a great series like Steins;Gate though. I wasn't able to watch Anohana, Usagi, Mawaru and Madoka, the top votes.
Not sure where to put this comment, but thanks for putting up the "Stop SOPA" sign on your blog. The more people who know about it and try to raise awareness, the better.

January 14, 2012 at 9:17 amS;G and F/Z were both great, and I was very tempted to vote for the latter, being a Nasuverse fanboy, but in the end I had to give it to Madoka.

January 14, 2012 at 10:29 pmWell, though I'm not considering F/Z for any "best of" awards until both cours have aired, I though I'd leave that choice up to the individual.

January 19, 2012 at 7:53 pmMy favorite series of 2011? I don't have to think too much: Steins Gate wins the contest hands down.
