This is news to celebrate.

I can’t say I was expecting this, because by all accounts Mitdusomoe hasn’t been that huge a hit in terms of ratings or DVD sales. Frankly I thought the humor was missing the mainstream audience – not moe enough for moe fans, not ecchi enough for hardcore ecchi fans, too avante garde for kids and too many kids for viewers who hate anime about kids. Yet, somehow, here we are – and what great news it is. For a series that’s just hitting it’s stride, stopping after 13 eps would have been a crying shame. And it looks like, unlike with Minami-ke, we’re going to get the same studio and hopefully the same director.

Really, I’m all agog with joy – what a fantastic surprise. Nipples! Panties! Nympho!
