I decided to check the AS forums and I'm surprised at the amount of discussion this anime has been generating, and even in-depth analysis.
Funny how this apparently conventional adaptation ended up being one of the highlights of the season for me. I remember how this was dismissed as crap by many people when it started airing.
Anyway, this series has come as a breath of fresh air in both the eroge adaptations world and a year otherwise devoid of any romance.
What's interesting is that this show had almost no post traffic on AS in the beginning, and it's built and built and built as it's gone on. Much like my interest level.
